Report

The Torque Log Analyzer report contains the following parameters.
Some of them may be missing if the proper PIDs are not logged or not supported by your car.

Start SOC %
HV Battery level at the beginning of the trip.
End SOC %
HV Battery level at the end of the trip.
SOC gain %
Difference between end and start level.
For non-plug-in hybrids, ideally, a round trip should have 0 SOC gain or loss.
Average SOC %
Average value during the trip
Difference from best %
Toyota hybrid system aims at 60% as best battery value.
Standard deviation
Deviation from best value
Min SOC %
Minimum value during the trip.
Max SOC %
Maximum value during the trip.
SOC gain from brakings
HV Battery % recovered from brakes.
SOC gain from coasting
HV Battery % recovered while cruising
SOC gain total
HV Battery % recovered total
SOC loss from EV driving
HV Battery % depleted while driving with the electric engine.

ICE off %
Percentage of time the petrol engine was off.
EV %
Percentage of time the car was in EV mode.
Note: on Toyota hybrids, this reflect the EV indicator on the dashboard, not the forced EV button.
It may be different from ICE off % since there are conditions where the engine is off but the car is not in EV (engine spinning at speeds > 70 km/h)
EV Range
Distance run in EV mode. With some careful battery and regeneration usage, this may be way greater than the nominal EV range of the car.
Trip length
This is taken from the GPS
Ignitions
How many times the petrol engine was turned on
Inefficient Ignitions
How many times the petrol engine was turned on for less than 5 seconds
Battery Stress
You can use this number to compare different driving methods. More current flowing in and out the battery leads to an higher stress measure.
Max Current
Maximun measured current
Min Current
Minimum measured current. On Toyota cars, negative values means discharging, while on Ford means charging.

Pulse %
Percentage of driving time where the car was in pulse
Glide %
Percentage of driving time where the car was in glide.
If the HSI PID is available, glide is computed from it, otherwise, it's just desumed from battery current
Neutral %
Percentage of driving time where the car was in N
Heretical %
Percentage of driving time where the car was in heretical (MG1 with negative RPMs on Toyota cars)
Longest Pulse sequence
Longest Pulse
Longest Glide sequence
Longest Glide
Longest Neutral sequence
Longest N
Longest Heretical sequence
Longest heretical.

Average Coolant Temperature
Temperature of engine coolant
Max Coolant Temperature
Temperature of engine coolant

HSI PWR %
Toyota only - power meter % time in Power zone
HSI Upper ECO %
Toyota only - power meter % time in upper half of the ECO zone
HSI Lower ECO %
Toyota only - power meter % time in lower half of the ECO zone
HSI CHG %
Toyota only - power meter % time in Charge zone

Average Engine Load
Average value, considering only when the engine is on.
Min Engine Load
Minimum value, excluding zero (engine off)
Max Engine Load
Maximum value

Average Speed
Average on the whole trip, including stops.
Top Speed
Maximum speed
Average Absolute Speed Variation
Speed variations, excluding stops.
Max RPM
Maximum RPM of the petrol engine
Average RPM
Average is calculated only when the engine is on.
Trip length
Distance from start to finish
Fuel used
Fuel volume
Fuel economy
Value at the end of the trip.
Best fuel economy
Best value in the whole trip.
Fuel consumption
Litres burned.

Brakings
How many times you used the brakes.
Bad brakings
Number of hydraulic brake interventions: this should be as little as possible.
Low speed braking are excluded from evaluation, since under 12 Km/h there's no choice other than using non-regenerative braking.
Braking efficiency
Ratio of good vs bad brake usage.
SOC gained %
How many SOC points gained by using regenerative braking in the whole trip.
Max SOC gained %
Maximum SOC points gained in a single braking.
Braking %
Percentage of braking vs moving. Braking while the car is standing still is not considered.

Average Accelerator %
Average value of accelerator pedal.
Note: this is the raw value from the ECU; 0 doesn't mean no pressure at all.
This parameter can be used for comparing different driving styles on the same road.
Standard Deviation
Statistic measure of the previous parameter.
This parameter can be used for comparing different driving styles on the same road.
Absolute Average Accelerator Variation
Variations of the accelerator value, measured only when the car is actually moving.
It's measure of your driving aggressiveness: lower values mean a more relaxed driving.
